First meetings, first smiles, and first moments in an international group – that’s exactly how today’s Welcome Day looked at University of Siedlce! We were very happy to welcome Erasmus+ students who decided to spend the upcoming semester in our city. This year, they came to us from Italy, Kosovo, Spain, and Turkey. The ceremony started on October 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the Senate Hall of the Rector’s Office. The Vice-Rector for Innovation and Cooperation, Dr. hab. Malina Kaszuba, university professor, officially welcomed the students together with the Head of the Center for international Cooperation, Dr. Agnieszka Dybowska. The meeting was also attended by interfaculty and faculty Erasmus+ coordinators as well as volunteers from the “Student Buddy” program, ready to support their new friends. A welcome presentation, introducing students to the life of the university and the city, was given by Ms. Ewelina Chwedczuk. After the official part, the participants were invited for refreshments, which was a perfect opportunity for first conversations and integration. A day full of impressions ended with an artistic accent. Erasmus+ students took part in the opening concert organized by University Cultural Center, which took place at 7:00 PM. We wish all Erasmus+ students a fruitful stay, many academic successes, and unforgettable experiences. We hope that the time spent at our university will bring not only knowledge but also lifelong friendships. Welcome to the University of Siedlce community!
