Spotkanie promujące program Erasmus+ w Liceum Ogólnokształcącym im. Władysława Sikorskiego w Międzyrzecu Podlaskim

On April 11, 2024, the Welcome Center UwS together with international Erasmus+ students from Brazil, Turkey and Ukraine and management student Ms. Oliwia Sakowicz (graduate of Secondary School), had the pleasure of visiting Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Władysława Sikorskiego w Międzyrzecu Podlaskim at a meeting promoting the Erasmus+ program.    
The meeting began with a warm welcome by the deputy head of the High School - Mr. Andrzej Zygmunt, and the coordinator of the Erasmus+ program - Mrs. Kinga Leszczyńska, then international Erasmus+ students studying in the summer semester of the academic year 2023/2024 took part in a number of activities.
One of them was language workshops with high school students. It was an excellent opportunity for students to improve their communication skills before their Erasmus+ trip to Greece starting in May.
Students presented their customs and traditions as well as interesting facts from the countries they come from, which allowed them to better learn about the cultural diversity of Europe and the world.
At the end of the meeting, there was a presentation of traditional Polish cuisine dishes such as dumplings, red borscht and croquettes with cabbage, and for dessert, the students tasted Polish cheesecake  
This successful event inspired the employees of the High School and Uniwersytet w Siedlcach to continue and develop cooperation, which will certainly bring many benefits to both the school's students secondary school and university students.
