University of Siedlce Joins the Signatories of the Magna Charta Universitatum
The Magna Charta Universitatum Declaration was established in 1988 on the occasion of the 900th anniversary of the world’s oldest university, the University of Bologna.
It represents a declaration of fundamental values and principles that define the identity of a university as an institution of social trust, academic freedom, and public responsibility.
A university applying to become one of its signatories must demonstrate respect for the principles of autonomy, ethics, openness, and commitment — both locally and globally.
We are pleased to announce that the University of Siedlce has met the criteria set out in the Magna Charta and has joined this community.
The official signing ceremony will take place in London on November 13 this year.
