Welcome to UPH was a continuation of the project 'Let's get together! Meet us!'. The 'Welcome to UPH' project was funded by the European Union under the Welcome to Poland 2021 program, implemented by the National Agency for Academic Exchange. Contract number: BPI/WTP/2021/1/00030/U/0000
The aim of the project was to enhance organizational capacity in the area of support for international students. As part of the project, training was conducted for academic staff, and the International Student Service Office - Welcome Center was established. Workshops and open meetings were also organized, aimed at both UPH students and the local community.
The Welcome Center served as a central support point for international students at UPH. It offered comprehensive support and assistance in orientation during studies and settling in on campus. Welcome Center staff provided assistance in various administrative matters, such as visa and residence permit procedures, course registration, and access to university resources.
One of the main goals of the Welcome Center was to build a sense of community and integration among international students. Through the organization of workshops, cultural events, and open meetings, students had the opportunity to connect with peers, learn about Polish culture, and engage in intercultural exchanges. The Welcome Center aimed to create a friendly and open environment where students from diverse backgrounds felt supported and appreciated.
